5 out of 5 stars What did we do before Kableflags?   January 18, 2008

These little tags are absolutely wonderful! I used them on all of the plugs behind my computer and ordered more for all of the plus that I have connecting all of the VCRs, DVD players, converters, etc., behind my TV. I also used them to flag the connections to my wireless router - my PC, my husband's PC, etc. We just moved and I flagged everything. The next time things are moved or changed around it will be SO much easier. I will never again have to crawl behind the computer to figure out which plug belongs to what. These are great for the USB hubs too!

5 out of 5 stars ID that plug   September 15, 2009

These flags (tags) work great for tagging (identify) everything from the plugs in a power strip to the IDing of charger cords. They are removable and reuseable so you can use them more than once. You can use pencil or pen for the lettering. When you have to unplug something, no more guessing or 'line following'. Plugs in a power strip are now easy to ID and so are various device charger cords

5 out of 5 stars Love these things   July 15, 2010

I had used some before on the HDTV and finally decided to tag both ends of all connecting wires to the three desk top and two laptop computers and all our hand held devices (cell phone cables, gps cables, electric razors, etc). The only minor fault with these tags is that you cannot erase them so you need to write clearly.

5 out of 5 stars Maybe the Best on the Current Market   February 27, 2010

These are the best cable tags I have found that are easily available. They are very sturdy, they enable you to write a description on them, they easily thread through themselves for attachment, and they can be removed when desired. These are better, in my opinion, than the colored ones such as Best Buy and Amazon.com sell unless you can remember which colors you used for which functions six months or a year later when you need to change or add something.

There was a negative comment in the reviews about shipping cost but what may be missing from that comment is you can purchase three of these strips of ten for that same shipping cost. And you probably need more than ten labels - you want one on each end of the cable and one in the middle for longer cable runs, especially runs on their way to a multiple printer/scanner stand. That means each strip of ten labels can do 3 to 5 cables. For computers, what with ethernet, several USB cables which are especially useful to identify at your built-in computer hub and external hubs where several come so close together, video cables if you have multiple monitors, eSATA cables, and identifying power cables on your power strip, one strip of ten of these labels probably isn't enough. And for entertainment centers you probably have several coaxial cables, power cords, and audio/visual interfaces (HDMI, composite, component, RCA, S-video, etc.). So think about how many labels you could use, add 20% for growth or for things you forgot, and you'll see that the shipping cost becomes less of an issue.

4 out of 5 stars Good product but. could be improved.   June 23, 2008

I am a gadget guy, I have piles of electronics and computer add-on's everywhere and all of them seem to use some special cable. I was constantly going through piles of power supplies and cords trying to figure out what went to what. Until I bought some of these.

They work great, are easy to attach and remove and there is no more guessing as to what this power supply or cable goes to anymore.

However, I really wish that they would have made them hold a paper insert so they could be re-used instead of writing on them. That would be my one suggestion to improve on the design, however since they are out to sell you as many as they can I don't see it happening. They are reasonably priced in my opinion so it is not much of an issue.

So if you have piles of cables you need to keep track of like me these are a necessity!
