After unpacking my tools that had been in storage for a couple of years I discovered to my chagrin that my 14.4v charger and battery were not working. In addition to replacing the battery I opted to substitute the old charger with the new PS1MVC 8.4 Volt - 14.4 Volt 1 Hour Battery Charger.
I am very pleased with its performance. It charges so fast that with a little planning I can get by with one battery. In a nutshell, the charger does the job well and does it fast.

Lives up to it's description of a 1 hour charger. Had to purchase a new charger after the one that came with the cordless drill quit working.
It was worth the money.

I purchased this charger because I lost the chincy charger that came with my 9.6 volt drill set... Its does what I wanted it to do, charge my batteries and it does this with aplomb! I really like the hour quickcharge!

My husband was thrilled with this purchase. His old one died, and Amazon's price was better than it could be purchased anywhere in a brick and mortar store, not to mention no tax and super saver shipping (we checked). He tried it out and it rapidly charged up his drill; we're talking a half an hour. I am now a super shopper in his eyes, and that's what counts with me.
