QUALITY CORD! March 7, 2009 Terry Schoenberger 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have been using Woods yellow cords for a long time for mobile DJ use. I recently decided to upgrade my cords from 14/3 to 12/3 gauge to get a thicker cord. The 14 gauge cords are thinner and easier to handle than the 12 gauge cords so buy the size needed for your application. For light use with small items or simple household use, go with the 14/3 gauge. For power tools or anything heavy duty, go with these 12/3 cords. The ends are constructed very well and light up when power is present. Overall the cord is well made and very sturdy.
Worth the extra dough June 13, 2009 Flip Flop (USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
At first, I wasn't too sure that I had made a smart decision paying extra for this particular cord. But after having used it for a couple of months with my electric mower - I can now safely say, without equivocation, that it was one of my better decisions.
The cord is lighter and more flexible than your typical cord 12/3 cord. If you've ever had to drag a 100 feet of cord across your lawn, you know it can be quite a chore due to gravity and friction. You'd think it wouldn't matter - but after an hour or two - it does.
It certainly makes mowing that much less of a chore for me. I'm glad I spent a few more bucks.
Worth it September 17, 2008 Jefferson E. Noxon (Houston, TX United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have only owned this product a short time, but it is obviously very well made. It's very flexible and durable and it should last a long time. Unlike cheaper cords it has heavy-duty 12 gauge wire. I'll buy a few more soon.
So far so good October 11, 2008 Kiwi (Aspen, CO United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Product as expected - appears durable with no concerns in the month I've had it, is very flexible compared to other cords I've used. Is heavy and unwieldy to store as one would expect for a 12/3 100ft cord so go shorter if you don't need 100'.
Good extension cord September 12, 2009 Danny Creech (Ventura, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the lighted ends on the cord that tell you when it's pluged in. This is just what I needed for running my electric lawn mower and and demanding tools.
