This one fits the bill! The light produced is crazy bright and I don't even notice I've added something new to my purse. I also like the housing that holds the batteries--it is easier to manage than the old school flashlights where you slide the batteries in and hope they don't come loose at some point. Great Light! I gave it only four stars because it did not come with a strap as pictured, and because, though it is called "chrome," it is really a sort of brushed aluminum. I don't care about the finish, but I did want the strap. The batteries go in easily, the compartment screws shut securely, and the whole package is very lightweight but sturdy. I got three: one to carry in my purse, another to keep next to my bed, and the third to go in the glovebox of the car. Very nice! No strap, cheap batteries. March 17, 2010 B. It did not come with a strap as pictured and the batteries were heavy-duty no-name Chinese brand. The flashlight and batteries did not come with any literature or even branding--just a heat-sealed plastic bag. Fit and finish were okay, though there was some aluminum flash from the casting. It is aluminum and plastic with somewhat thin rubber o-ring seals so it's fairly lightweight, but I wouldn't want to get it wet, nor would I want to leave it exposed outside or in extreme temps.
