| Customer Reviews: works great June 14, 2009 Mr. Richard T. Raymond Jr. Great product that works as it should. If you require a new seal I suggest just getting an "O"ring that will fit over the piercing tube. Worked when i needed a new seal on my Snap On can tap but it broke after many years and was only for R12 cans. This item does them all R12, R134 and oil charge cans.
Managers Review of Tool Topia August 25, 2007 Big Bend Parts Repair LLC 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
The can tap arrived undamaged but the air conditioner recharging station did not arrive in as good of shape. It was apparent that the box had not been opened at the warehouse and that the product was probably damaged before it was shipped. I turned the package back to ups and they sent it back. Tool Topia finally did ship another machine but it took another 7 to 14 day to get to me which means that I lost another two weeks of air conditioner jobs because of not having a good machine shipped in the first place.
I am still waiting on the credit card statment to see if all the proper adjustments have been made.
Thank you,
N. Pinger
Could be better January 7, 2008 Darin Mohammed (Trinidad WI) The can tap worked exactly as it was supposed to but after just 4 times, the rubber seal split resulting in messy leaks. Now i need to source a seal for it or make one. Would have been good if it had come with a spare. Best if used near the bottom or top of can.
