The Jet 708663PK XACTASAW features a large, finely ground cast-iron table measuring 27 inches by 40 inches (with standard extension) to provide plenty of work surface for large jobs, including 10 inches of clear table in front of the fully raised blade. Under the table you'll find a heavy-duty, wide-stance cast-iron trunnion mechanism, which provides nearly vibration-free operation. Equipped with a 3-horsepower motor (power rated based on continuous duty cycle), power is delivered to the blade via three matched V-belts, which provide a slip-resistant smooth operation. A hinged motor cover on the cabinet gives quick access to the motor and belts, and it also offers a built-in, 4-inch port for dust collection.

The 708663PK saw is a left-tilt machine, meaning the blade tilts away from the fence. When cutting bevels, this allows the scrap to fall freely onto the table and prevents your work piece from becoming trapped between the fence and the blade, ensuring safer, burn-free cuts. Heavy-duty chrome-plated hand wheels contribute to smooth trunnion/arbor movement, and it includes a miter gauge with adjustable positive stops for accurate mitering.

This XACTASAW comes with an exclusive 50-inch commercial Fence II with T-square design to enhance accuracy, performance, and safety. It uses high-end materials that are precisely welded to make a tough, accurate fence system. Fully wired internally, it has rail-mounted magnetic switch that's easy to reach and provides overload protection.
